My daughter is three and really loves pretending that she's serving mommy and daddy food that she's 'made'. I looked at lots of pretend play food for her...but the quality stuff is so expensive. So, I was recently inspired to create and make some 'food' out of felt. She's been playing with it for about two months and, so far, seems to be pretty durable. I used craft felt, polyfill, beads, foam, imagination and a little patience.
